Duskhunter Cottage Dog Rescue

We have no shortage of dogs to put up for foster or adoption but there are a few who have not really been ready to go to a new home as they are very shy with other dogs around and have always moved out of the way for the bolder dogs to take centre stage.

They will come in when the others are out of the way and at such times they thoroughly enjoy being made a fuss of. This means that here at Duskhunter Cottage dog rescue my numbers are limited until I can give these two sisters (who we are not looking to be rehomed together, thinking singly would be best) the time and attention they need to gain confidence.

If anyone could open their hearts and homes to foster a dog from us it means that we can still help dogs in need from both this country and abroad whilst also working with the dogs that inevitably take longer to gain confidence.

Willow and Lulu are our two shyer dogs here in Plymouth who nevertheless enjoy their walks here and a sofa or soft bed to lie on. They are both looking for new homes, probably best without children as they have not been used to them. Not been used to cats either so unsure how they would be with them though lulu has seen them and ignored them.

These girls are happy when they are confident of those they are with. Happy to go for drives in the car too. Non aggressive and fine with other dogs. Both housetrained, non food aggressive. For anyone who would like the idea of working with these gentle sisters or one of them we would really appreciate the offer of a foster home or adopted home - they are very sweet natured girls.
