Application form
Filling in a form is a crucial initial step in the process of finding the perfect dog for your lifestyle and home. By providing us with detailed information about you and your living situation, we can ensure that we match you with a dog that will be a great fit for you and your family.
02
Video or pictures about the garden
We also need a short video of garden boundaries to ensure the area is secure. If you can’t manage a video, pictures will be okay, just be aware that we need to check for holes in fences and hedges are generally not secure as dogs can easily find their way through hedges unless there is also a wire fence in the middle.
We are often asked to take in dogs that are left all day and in distress. For owners who work away from the home full time this is when a dog can get up to mischief and become bored or nervous and suffer from separation anxiety
03
Adoption or fostering
We also offer fostering with a view to adopt. This is a good way to 'try before you buy'. You can foster a dog for a few days to see if you and the dog are suited or perhaps you have other animals that the dog needs to get along with. We do expect people to not give up at the first hurdle if the dog is shy, has accidents in the house etc or needs to get along with the cat. These things take time and the dog needs to be given real time to settle, not just a day or two and generally each day shows improvement as the dog starts to decompress.
If you could fill out the form as soon as you can and return promptly you are ready to be first in line for the dog of your choice. We try to work as quickly as possible with rehoming both for the dogs and yourselves and don't want you to miss out on a dog you may have set your heart on.
