Prince
This charming boy is currently residing at Duskhunter Cottage, UK.
He is 7 years old and is around the same size as a Labrador.
When Prince arrived at Duskhunter Cottage it was immediately evident that he was a very scared boy. For the first week he hid in the bushes of the garden and would not seek out any company.
This gentle soul has made phenomenal progress! He is now content being indoors and will happily potter around the garden with the other dogs. Prince finds safety in being close to his foster Mum and is now very happy with the attention he gets. He is house trained and good on the lead, enjoying time with the dog walker. We think Prince will be good with children once settled in his home.
Prince shows absolutely no aggression to people or dogs, even when scared. He is a very gentle boy.
The person or family who take Prince will need to give him time and have plenty of patience with him. Being moved again will likely knock his confidence and he will need time to be left to decompress in his new home. He will need a quiet, safe space to retreat to. Don't worry, he can be coaxed out and will be happy to receive attention and affection when he gets used to his new people. Everything with Prince will just take a little time but it is so worth it. He will prefer to live in a quiet area with very few visitors and very little disruption.
Prince can be homed as an only dog or with another calm dog.
He isn't hard work and other than requiring time to settle, he is fantastic company to have around. To see him come out of his shell and see him happy is so rewarding. When he comes for attention it makes everything worthwhile.
